Event Description

Have a heart for others and donate the live-saving gift of blood. Most healthy people who are at least 17 years old and weight at least 110 pounds are eligible to donate blood every 56 days. Donating blood is a simple thing to do, but it can make a big difference in the lives of others. The donation process from the time you arrive until the time you leave takes about 45 minutes. The donation itself only takes about 8-10 minutes. Visit www.kennesaw-ga.gov/pkrec and click on the calendar entry to schedule an appointment online, or call the American Red Cross at 1-800-RED CROSS (1-800-733-2767). Walk-ins are also welcome.
