Event Description

The 2012 Encore Series at Jennie T. Anderson Theatre begins Thursday, Jan. 26, with a performance of "Hairspray" by Pebblebrook High School. "Hairspray" is a musical based on the 1988 film of the same name. The show is a lighthearted social commentary on the injustices of parts of American society in the 1960s
and includes downtown rhythm and blues and dance music of the era. "Hairspray" will run Jan. 26 - 29 and Feb. 2 -5.
