Global Sport Solutions Educates Youth Soccer Players
(Cobb County, Ga.) - January 20, 2012 - Cobb Travel & Tourism is excited to welcome Global Sport Solutions and the Southeast Soccer Expo to the Cobb Galleria Centre January 27-28, 2012.
The event involves coaching demonstrations on indoor turf, a skills competition sponsored by Best Buy, presentations on college soccer, what it takes to become a professional player and photo opportunities with professional soccer players and managers. With more than 35 exhibitors and five different countries represented, the event is open to the public for $10 per person/$20 family pass, or free to Georgia Soccer Members.
Professionals, such as Mac Kandji of the Colorado Rapids, former US national team player Clint Mathis, and ex-English Championship manager and UEFA pro license holder Simon Davey will all be at the event to help develop skills and give advice on how to compete.
"We have attended many soccer conventions aimed at coaches, but noticed there wasn't a central place for everyone to go for information on programs, camps, equipment and college soccer," said Steve Hutton, event director at Global Sports Solutions. "We decided that this was an event that Atlanta needed, so we partnered with Georgia Soccer to launch the biggest soccer expo in Georgia."
"Cobb County was an ideal location as it has several strong soccer programs," said Hutton. "And the facilities at the Cobb Galleria Centre are outstanding. We plan to do this every year in Cobb."
Global Sport Solutions is a soccer consultancy and event management company. They run soccer tournaments, tours, camps, expositions, and give advice to soccer organizations and recreation departments in the U.S. and U.K.
